Back to the future: A revolution and a fellowship?
Last night at The Deck was an amazing time....again.
Clearly, the desires and prayers of many PULL at the door of heaven...AND IT OPENS!
Below are some points from last night.

Sam Pascoe is right, what once distinguished the church has been changed, compromised and diluted over time.
The world can tell - we're not kidding anyone. No one would confuse what they see today as that which is seen in Acts. (Not in this country, at least.)
The early followers of Jesus moved with core passions and functions and their lives were marked by a focus well beyond personal or corporate comfort. They rocked the culture.
Today, well...we look more like ice cream socials or business ventures just trying to be kind or make a buck to keep the lights on.
But the command still stands: "See what I given you, go on the path, take hold of the promise."
The covenant 'turf' we're to take for the Kingdom is like a car parked just outside your house. Maybe you've not seen it, certainly you've never driven it.
But it's a gift: The title's already in your name and keys are on the table.
God says, 'See, go, take hold.'
We say, 'Yeah, maybe later,' afraid to take the wheel.
Do we even see the car (promise)? Often we can't see what we don't expect to see.
"Blessed is he who expects nothing for he shall not be disappointed."
What is out there waiting for you, but you're not expecting it?
We need to break free.
Zech 3 is linked to this time also. Maybe these truths are for you if you will walk out the process:
First - You're a FIRE BRAND chosen by the Lord and plucked from the fire!
Second - God rises up and rebukes your Accuser for He wants to use you to stir up a fire again.
Then He commands that the old, soiled 'stuff' we're wearing be torn off: It reeks of self-justification, pride and legalism.
(Oh, and heads up: This process has an awkward time when we are naked and exposed between the removal of the old and placement of the new.)
Next, a new robe of authority is put on. It's a stately garment and mantle.
Then all of this leads to a new level of access.
Tips:
Endure the short term pain for the long term plan.
As He is kind with you in this, likewise be kind and patient both with yourself and others.
God's got it but it doesn't mean it'll be easy - Only that it will be VERY good.
But it IS time to take that car (promise) out for a spin.
