Navigate Intensity: Nurture Your New Beginning

This is an intense time and that intensity is about to increase.   

Yet we are also in a time of new beginnings - of crossing into what God has been developing from what fell, died, and now springs up in life.

These days of 'counting the omer' (Dt.16 and Lev 23) connect Passover to Pentecost by the forged chain links of thanking Him each day for blessings. 

The command of Jesus to His disciples 'not to leave Jerusalem until...' affirmed the critical nature of this time - for them, but also for us.

Post His Resurrection and THE new beginning, Jesus had to walk His disciples through issues with their new beginnings. 

In the Emmaus encounter (Lk 24) we see His strategy (and playfulness) to draw out the disappointment and grief of shattered expectations, recalibrate thoughts, and pop open their eyes.  

Most of us need that kind of session with Him - and it's readily available.

For we're in an intense battle, but the Lion is establishing a new beachhead from which we will advance.

Stay awake and alert, attend and nurture the new thing that He has called up and out of you.  

This dynamic is not only about individuals - it's about regions, states, and nations, and Georgia is in just such a battle - NOW.

And so we are helping to host a regional worship gathering in Macon on Monday, from 7 to 9 PM. (Map link below.) 

It is a vital and strategic assignment, so please pray for this and, if possible, attend.  

We are navigating the intensity: We are nurturing a new beginning.  

These are wild and wonderful times, and The Lion of the tribe of Judah is on this battlefield!
