More Freedom? Something's Gotta Give; Somethings Gotta Die.

When freedom is at stake, there is always a process where pressure builds until something's gotta give and something's gotta die.
Example? In this first biblical month God broke Israel out from Pharaoh and Christ broke us out of the hand of the enemy: Pressure builds; Something gave: Someone died.

In Exodus 6, God sets out a progressive path that follows, declaring seven I WILL statements: This path is also for us.
The first three I WILL's worked fine for Israel: Out from the burden, bondage broken, and redemption (transfer of ownership) accomplished by God.

But once they crossed over, resistance rose up: Would they demonstrate that He was their God? Would they let Him bring them into the Promise?
God gave them freedom FROM captivity in order they would have freedom TO be His, be aligned, and then occupy the Promised Land.

God even arranged to have Israel (finally) enter the Promised Land this same month: Making the point that freedom FROM and freedom TO must be connected.
The question was never if He would work these but whether they'd agree and align and move out into the full freedom He had for them.

What about us?
If we're struggling to move into the Promised territory, these seven I WILL's work as a process check.
Is an old burden holding me back?
Is there a hidden bondage that must be broken?
Is every part of me submitted to New Ownership?
Am I connected to His People as my tribe and troop?
Is it clear that He is my God in all areas?
Am I resisting to enter into a Promise?
If I've entered it, am I occupying it fully?
Key things to remember:
1. These are His I WILL statements. He's all in and wants to act but... we have decisions to make.
2. There is always more freedom FROM so you have freedom TO advance into more. Don't stop the process short.
3. If you see/feel the pressure building, get ready and respond well: Something's gotta give and something's gotta die.
It IS for freedom that Christ has set you free and there is more in store this month!
