If You're Not Seated, You're Not Saved*

What?!?! No worries - I've not gone off the deep end. (Well... not about this anyway.)
But in Ephesians 2, Paul lays out the fact that we have been saved by Grace so we were once dead, made alive and raised with Christ, and NOW seated in the heavenlies with Him.

It's a package deal for it is based on the full work of Jesus by the Crucifixion, Resurrection, AND the Ascension. (BTW, celebrated this week.)
His Ascension secured our seats in the heavenlies but much of the church doesn't know what to do with that and thus tries to sit on a two-legged stool. Dangerous.

So, if we are seated right now, then why do we not act like it? Gravity.
Gravity is not seen but powerful and there is a kind 'gravity' that pulls us down off our seats so we don't walk it out.

Some church 'gravity' comes from incomplete teachings, errant theology, unbelief, fears, and sometimes the simple question of how we can be seated in heaven while walking the earth.
But this is not a question of geolocation but of authority.

Analogy: The President is seated in authority in the Oval Office of the White House.
And yet he does not lose that seated authority when he travels to other places: The full weight of his authority goes with him.
As with him, so with us - but even MORE SO.
His position of authority is time-limited and constrained to the natural world.
Our co-location with Christ is not. YOWZA!
Much more on the replay to help you catch this critical AND functional reality.
You are saved and you are seated in the heavenlies with Christ Jesus and you have seated authority in Him.
Time to act like it.
