Nevertheless: Perspectives & Strategies to Actualize His Promises

We readily affirm and agree that 'ALL the promises of God are Yes and Amen in Christ Jesus.' (2 Cor 10.)
Why then does the Body of Christ seem to actualize so few of them?

We frequently succumb to the same dynamics that Israel experienced when the spy reports came back from the Promised Land. (Num 13/14)
By complaint and accusation, they dissed the goodness of the promise, God's ability to give it, their ability to secure it, and impinged His character for even bringing them out of Egypt.

Q: Which promises of God have been all but removed from our thoughts and desires for one of those same reasons?
His promises have both gravitational pull and a fulfilment force, yet there are contingency factors of desire/pursuit and the requirement to mix/link them with faith.

One way to mix the promise with faith is to use the word nevertheless in both thoughts and speech.
Nevertheless connects two contrasted dynamics AND establishes which is the faith 'trump card.'

Israel's failure was to use nevertheless to demonstrate their faith in the giants: "The land is good and flows with milk and honey, nevertheless, the people in the land are strong, etc." (Num 13)
Peter gets it right when he says, "We have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless, at Your word I will let down the net.” (Lk 5)
To rightly combine the promise with faith we never deny the brutal facts of the matter. (There were giants; they had caught nothing all night, etc.)
But we connect and trump them by the promise that He's given for that situation.
Nevertheless is thereby a kind of lens through which we see things - shifting perspectives and framing the situation.
Much more on the replay to ponder and pray (including the danger of moonwalking a promise. LOL)
He's determined to demonstrate His Glory through you in this way.
Watch. Pray. Gain perspectives and strategies: Actualize His promises.
