What is YOUR Nineveh?

Jonah did not want any part of God's mercy plan for Nineveh and so he pulled a 'major geographic' and fled.
After all, the Assyrians were a blood thirsty and vicious people and Jonah's righteous resentment was absolutely correct... right?

We are in the biblical month of Elul, a time of preparation and repentance so we enter fully into what God has next.
The challenge is that many of us have our own 'Ninevehs' - people, groups, traumas, etc., that we feel justified to hold judgments when it is not our place to do so.

We withhold our hearts, prayers, forgiveness, and more in acts of self-protection and passive aggressive vengeance.
Last night Jeanne Webb led us into a deeper understanding of repentance, why it is so important, and just how freeing it is.

Sharing from the depths of her own journey, we could see and hear the release when she allowed God to bring her to a place of complete nakedness before Him.
But rather than fear and shame, the encounter brought her great freedom and joy. (Don't have time for the whole replay? Hear her testimony at minute 41 - yowzah!)
Don't miss out on what He has for you.
Don't be deluded or in denial about some old, deep, self-justified, and often hidden, area that needs to be addressed.
Uncertain what that is? Ask, 'Lord, what is my Nineveh?'
Prepare the way of the Lord!
The King is in your field and He brings freedom and healing to those willing to be naked before Him.
