Come! Enter into the JOY of Your Master

The joy of this 12th biblical month of Adar is anchored in the judo-flipped, reverse-the-curse, narrative of Esther.

The reminder that Jehovah Sneaky * sees the beginning from the end, plays the very l-o-n-g game, and works the details for ultimate good.  

That persistent perspective must be formed in us if we are to enter into HIS JOY, THE JOY of our Master.

Our own 'joy' is far too often dependent on immediate circumstances and our emotional state.

Jesus wants HIS JOY to be in us (John 15) for it carries the power to endure the worst of the worst and persevere, even as He did on the Cross. (Heb 12)

It carries courage to stay the course in obedience - even when the stakes are extremely high.

It anchors us in His Character, His Promise, and His Vision.

We become adept at living fully in the temporal while our hearts abide in the Eternal.

"When Adar comes, joy increases."

Determine that this will be true for you this month.

Grab hold of HIS JOY to see the end from the beginning, be comfortable with the long game, and be confident that He IS working it out for good.
